The last board meeting, the welcome back and Wednesday’s Meet and Greet were a good beginning. We had over 100 teachers, parents and community members at the Superintendent Meet and Greet.
This was only the beginning! If we are agree with what the district is offering or the leftovers they find to augment it, then we think we have done a good job and should stop here.
If WE collectively want to get the compensation we deserve for all that we do for our students and district, then we need to show up in force with half of our membership or more for EVERY event we schedule. I know this takes time and effort, but take some of that extra time we spend in the classroom each day and let’s make the effort for our families, colleagues and ourselves!
